Serving the nation through Nai Talim since 1950
The seeds of our institution were sown in the Gandhian era. In 1950, the Nai Talim Adhyapan Mandir was established in Vedchhi to train teachers who could lead the "Basic Education" (Nai Talim) movement.
Guided by the vision of "Education for Life," the institute initially admitted both men and women. Over the decades, it evolved from a training center for 'Gram Shala' teachers to a full-fledged D.El.Ed College (formerly P.T.C) recognized by the NCTE and Gujarat Government.
Instilling truth, non-violence, and simplicity in future teachers.
Training in spinning (Khadi), cleaning, cooking, and agriculture.
Development of leadership through Hostel Management and Ashram Life.
